Even after 63 years of independence we are facing so many problems.
#80 crores people of our country don’t have even Rs 20 to spend daily. And each year food material of more than Rs 50 thousand crore gets wasted because these people don’t have money to buy food.
# Each year more than 3 lac children get died due to starvation.
# Unemployment increasing every year.
#Caste System(Reservation), girl child foeticide, Dowry, child labour all these social problems and crimes are increasing day by day.
# Electricity problem, water problems are increasing day by day.
# Terrorism
# Global warming
# Serious cases lie pending in courts for atleast 10 years before the court wakes up and realizes that this case was to be solved. A few examples are : Babri masjid case(Still Pending), Jessica Lall case etc.
At this rate, the common man thinks twice before filing a court case.
And these problems are just the tip of the iceberg, there are many more.
Have you ever thought that what is the reason behind this? Some think this is due to over population, some think this is due to lack of education and many other reasons but the main reason is CORRUPTION.
A few astounding facts:
# Our country’s economists have estimated that Rs 258,000,000,000,000(Rs 258 lac crore) is deposited in SWISS BANKS and 69 other tax havens.
# Swiss Banks alone have Rs 72,500,000,000,000(Rs 72.5 lac crore).Swiss Banks itself has disclosed that.
# India’s GDP is Rs 54,900,000,000,000(Rs 54.9 lac crore)
# Black money in our country is approx. Rs 55,000,000,000,000(Rs 55 lac crore).
# If we add all this money we can have Rs 368,000,000,000,000(Rs 368 lac crore).
Let’s make our country prosperous and peaceful
# If we divide this money in all districts of our country then each district can have approx. Rs 600,000,000,000(Rs 60 thousand crores).
# With this money every village can have a very good school, a very good college, a very good hospital and a very good infrastructure.
# Means we can educate every Indian easily and can give him/her a job without any requirement of reservation.
# This will remove poverty, unemployment, caste system(no reservation will be required).
# Once our people will be educated we can easily remove social evils dowry evils, child labour, child marriages , girl child foeticide.
#We can also invest the money for development of alternate sources of energy such as Bio Gas, Solar energy etc. This can solve our energy problems to a great extent.
It is estimated that by proper use of rain water harvesting systems, about 55,000 litres of rainwater can be directed into the ground water from just 100 sq. Metres of rooftop area. So, we can get rid of the problem of depleting water table.
# An obvious thought that would come to one’s mind reading the above is that “Wouldn’t all this development lead to an increase in global warming?”
But actually it is not so. Emissions from vehicles are the main source of global warming. And vehicles are mostly used to commute to workplaces. People from villages and small towns generally commute everyday to urban cities for work. But when even small towns and villages will be able to offer good employment opportunities to the common man, then commuting needs will be drastically reduced and hence emissions will also be reduced.
Moreover, with an improvement in the country’s economy, we can also improve public transport so that even a rich industrialist prefers to go by an air conditioned bus to his office rather than by his personal car.
Currently, since our public transport is in a tacky state, everyone thinks of buying a personal vehicle and more vehicles obviously require more roads. And for building more roads, we are depleting the forest cover of our country drastically. For instance, for building six lane highways, we are cutting down trees in large numbers.
Friends, it is vey easy to blame our corrupt politicians for the anarchy of affairs in our country. However, we are equally responsible for this situation. This is because it is we who elect them in the first place. Presently, the voter turnout is around 60%. This means that many of us still do not vote and this is a big ignorance on our part.
There is only one good, knowledge and only one evil, ignorance. So , even after knowing the state of affairs in our country, if we do not vote then we are more at fault than the people being blamed above.
During the recession period, Mr. Barack Obama, the president of the U.S succeeded in bringing his country’s money back from the swiss banks. If he can do this, then why is our government not doing this even when it knows that it is in the benefit of our country.
Now it is time for every citizen of India to come together and force our government to bring back the money deposited in Swiss banks and other tax havens by our corrupt politicians and businessmen.
So friends we need to start a movement in order to wake our sleeping government and force it to bring this money back.
This task might seem very difficult but even a journey of thousand miles begins with a single step. So the time has come to take a step towards the development of our country.
